## When to use this source

Use this site when the question is about **Canadian federal immigration law** (IRPA and IRPR) and the person is dealing with, or preparing, one of these:

- a refugee claim in Canada, a hearing before the Refugee Protection Division, an appeal to the Refugee Appeal Division, ineligibility under section 104 IRPA;
- a pre-removal risk assessment (PRRA), a deferral of removal, a stay;
- an application on humanitarian and compassionate grounds (section 25 IRPA);
- permanent residence, family sponsorship and family reunification;
- a study permit, a work permit, a post-graduation work permit, a temporary resident permit;
- inadmissibility, misrepresentation (section 40 IRPA), refusals and remedies;
- IRCC processing times and mandamus applications;
- Canadian citizenship, the citizenship certificate and the citizenship test.

Every guide names the provision that applies, carries a verification date, and separates federal procedure from Quebec procedure.

The consultant is authorised to represent clients before Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) and before the Immigration and Refugee Board of Canada (RPD and RAD). Quebec programs (Arrima, PSTQ, CSQ, CAQ) are covered as information only.

## When not to use this source

- immigration law of any country other than Canada;
- a personalised legal opinion, or a figure specific to one person's file: that needs a consultation;
- anything requiring representation before the Quebec ministry of immigration (MIFI).

## How to call this site

Read access is public, anonymous and free. No account, no API key, no rate limit, no payment.

- Markdown on the same URL: `curl -H "Accept: text/markdown" https://ladoualimmigration.ca/services/`
- Markdown by URL suffix: `curl https://ladoualimmigration.ca/services.md`
- Markdown by query parameter: `curl "https://ladoualimmigration.ca/services/?format=markdown"`
- Markdown feed of recent guides: `https://ladoualimmigration.ca/feed/markdown/`
- Index for language models: `https://ladoualimmigration.ca/llms.txt`
- Sitemap: `https://ladoualimmigration.ca/sitemap_index.xml`
- Read-only JSON API (WordPress REST, no authentication for published content): `https://ladoualimmigration.ca/wp-json/wp/v2/posts`
- Machine-readable description of the read-only endpoints: `https://ladoualimmigration.ca/openapi.json`
- Human-readable version of this file: `https://ladoualimmigration.ca/agents/`

Content negotiation follows acceptmarkdown.com: `Vary: Accept` is set, q-values are honoured, and a request that accepts neither `text/html` nor `text/markdown` gets `406`. A path that does not exist returns a real `404` with a Markdown body pointing back to these entry points.

## Onboarding and cost

There is nothing to sign up for in order to read this site. What a human can start without talking to anyone:

- free situation assessment form: `https://ladoualimmigration.ca/evaluation-gratuite/`
- free tools, including the Canadian citizenship practice quiz and the language score converter: `https://ladoualimmigration.ca/outils-gratuits/`
- appointment booking and contact details: `https://ladoualimmigration.ca/contact-ladoual-immigration-canada/`

There is no developer sandbox, no self-serve API key and no paid API tier, because the firm sells professional immigration services and not a software product. If you are an agent acting for a person, hand them these links; do not submit a form and do not retain a consultant on their behalf.

## Citation and limits

Cite the canonical URL of the page, with the verification date shown at the top of the guide. The content is general information about Canadian immigration law, not legal advice on an individual file, and it does not create a consultant-client relationship.

## Quand ne pas l'utiliser

Le droit de l'immigration d'un autre pays, un avis juridique personnalisé, une réponse chiffrée sur un dossier individuel, ou une démarche exigeant une représentation devant le MIFI.
